Carefully read all sections that apply to the equipment you are renting, including the refund policy.

ALL RENTALS
● Renter will pick up and return equipment on time and in good working order.
● Renter must have proper auto liability coverage when towing Heartland trailers and/or equipment and will be responsible for any accidents or damage caused by towing.
● All Heartland equipment must stay inside the State of Idaho.
● Equipment will not be used by anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
● Renter will ensure that all participants abide by the laws set forth by the State of Idaho.
● All participants must sign the Release of Liability.

UTV RENTALS
● Renter must be at least 21 years of age and will be present at the time of pick up.
● All drivers must be at least 16 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
● All participants must wear a seatbelt and DOT-approved helmet while in the rental.
● Children are allowed to ride ONLY IF they are large enough to appropriately use and fit into an adult seat belt.
● Heartland UTVs are classified as Off Highway Vehicles. Renter agrees to follow the laws set forth by Idaho’s Department of Parks and Recreation for OHVs.
● Renter will cover the cost of lost, stolen, or damaged equipment.
● UTV is to be returned with a full tank of gas and free of trash.

WATERCRAFT RENTALS
● Primary renter must be at least 18 years old and will be present at the time of pick up.
● All participants must wear a USCG-approved Type III life jacket.
● All participants must be able to swim while wearing a life jacket. Infants are not allowed to use Heartland equipment.
● Renter is responsible to research water conditions and be capable of handling them.
● Renter acknowledges that it is against Idaho law to use unlit watercraft after dark.
● Renter will cover the cost of lost or stolen equipment.
● Watercraft are to be returned free of trash and food content.

REFUNDS
● Payment is due in full at the time of reservation.
● UTV reservations are fully refundable up to 2 weeks before the start date. They are 50% refundable up to 5 days before the start date.
● Watercraft reservations are fully refundable up to 1 week before the start date. They are 50% refundable up to 3 days before the start date.
● The renter is responsible for contacting Heartland Adventure Rentals during business hours in order to secure a refund.
